Let’s start off on an honest footing. I’m a singer-songwriter and I’m always in need of press, etc., to promote my music. The banner photo above blatantly displays that, as I have a new release that I’m currently promoting. Here are the details for any station who might play it.

Now that the housekeeping is out of the way, let’s get down to ‘the get down’ and that my friends, is this FACT (albeit my opinion, LOL): The duo of Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars, aka Silk Sonic, is ‘BEYOND’ this sphere and may have been sent here to save the earth, musically speaking.
They might the best ever to hit the stage on this earth!
Just look at them — OMG! Singing and playing and “LOOKING” like what folks want to see in a show, fabulous clothes / costumes. Please … miss me with performers in wrinkled jeans and wrinkled tee-shirts. I want them to dazzle me with the music and their fashions. Tickets are too expensive for anything less. Sorry.

Now — On with the review.
If you actually prefer real singing, real dancing and guys with real and imaginative talent … then Silk Sonic will make your day (or ‘give you life’ — as the popular jargon goes).
I’m in awe of them, because I grew up with folks like that musical genius, Prince, and other truly amazing entertainers. I loved the ‘glam rockers’ and show groups like KISS. They hit the stage and gave you a show that was well worth the ticket price.
Silk Sonic has the appropriate name. They are as smooth as silk — but also like a sonic rocket, blasting audiences with unfathomable joy! The crowds of fans are in love with them and it surely shows in their performances. They are beyond THIS planet, when it comes to where they are as entertainers. I’m simply over-the-moon about them!
If you don’t believe this reviewer’s analysis, read the comments left on any of their songs and performances on YouTube. One person said it best when he/she said that, ‘This generation doesn’t even deserve a group this talented.’
Several said they needed a return trip to Vegas to see them again. Many gave their age as being over 70, and said these dashing gents made them feel young again. (Now, that’s a compliment worth catching in a bottle — Vegas, are you listening?) But, with the silky smooth way they move, I can see “mature” ladies having some not-so-grandmotherly thoughts! Oh, my goodness; clutch the pearls.
Seeing them perform was on the bucket list of several others. In addition to all of that wicked style, swag and sexy singing, their lyrics are fun — yet still very modern. They don’t shy away from the current brazen terminology now used by “the culture.” In so doing, they appeal to those who like the coarseness that today’s music has taken. Yet, they’re careful not to go overboard to the level of offending their ‘adult’ listeners.
It’s on my current list to share a stage with these unusually talented performers. They do soul music … I do country-soul music, so the commonalities are there. (I’m feeling it!) I stand about 5'8" but I can easily work that stage with them in some black, polished cowboy boots. Hey fantasy, please manifest into reality. LOL!
Here Bruno is in a cowboy hat. ‘Oh Yeah!’ He’s got a lil’ country in him.
I’m currently manifesting and fantasizing right this very moment, and I can actually hear the announcer now say:
‘Please put your hands together for Silk Sonic’s featured country-soul singer, Ms. Temperance Lancecouncil.’

I don’t know how much Vegas is paying them for their residency — — but based on the audience’s euphoric reactions, it should be nothing short of several Brinks trucks of gold bullion. ###
